A striking work, worthy as a sole focal point as it is currently. Evolution is a powerful and evocative work.
Artists Comments: "I wanted to create a piece that would show both the organic nature of a horse born of the earth and the evolution of the raw iron from earth to processed steel to unformed horseshoe rods to finished shoes."

One of Antons" smaller works, yet none the less impressive. The stiking streamline twisted horns can at once seem things of benign beauty, and then powerful sabres. This sculpture evokes a sadness as well as beauty.
Artists Comments: "This piece started out as a single headed unicorn, but as I worked on it I wanted to incorporate a deep sadness within the fantasy. Provoking thoughts of a once great creature slain. Even more so having once been unique amongst its peers for its twin heads."

At almost 12 feet high, weighing in at 475kg, this is my largest and most difficult piece to date. Achieving the balance was perhaps the most difficult area, with several trial fittings of the wings which act as a counter balance to the body weight. The wings required fabricating seperately to facilitate the galvanizing process, the factory bath being of a specific size normally used for long, narrow and shallow industial items.
Once the base was fixed the wings were carefully raised into place and welded on to further secure.
